Take an A4 envelope for your telephone & tablet

Remember that having electronic apparatus (phone, laptop, tablet, digital watch) in the examination room (even if turned off) is not allowed. You should preferably leave them in your hotel or at home. It is also possible to hand them in, but you need to take an A4 envelope YOURSELF with your name and date of birth noted on it. aufgrund der Erfahrungen der letzten Jahre und um eine faire Prüfung zu gewährleisten, möchten wir Sie an Folgendes erinnern:
Während der EEP sind elektronische Geräte VERBOTEN.
Mobiltelefone und viele andere elektronische Geräte sind heute ein fester Bestandteil unseres täglichen Lebens. Sie können jedoch nicht Teil der EEP sein und es ist strengstens verboten, elektronische Geräte jeder Art, seien es Mobiltelefone, Kameras, digitale Uhren oder Wecker (selbst mechanische), mit in den Prüfungsraum zu nehmen (siehe Anweisungen für den Ablauf der europäischen Eignungsprüfung, Punkte 9 (a), Zusatzpublikation ABl. EPA 2/2017, S. 37).
Bewerber, die mit einem elektronischen Gerät im Prüfungsraum vorgefunden werden (ausgenommen bei ausdrücklicher Genehmigung des Prüfungssekretariats), werden der Prüfungskommission gemeldet. Dies kann ernste Folgen haben (siehe Regeln 19 und 20 ABVEP).
Es besteht jedoch die Möglichkeit die elektronischen Geräte vor Beginn der Prüfung abzugeben. Dafür bringen Sie bitte einen DIN A4 Umschlag mit, den Sie mit Ihrem Vor- und Nachnamen, sowie Ihrem Geburtsdatum beschriften. Für Schäden oder Verlust kann keine Haftung übernommen werden.

Owing to the experience of the last few years and in order to ensure a fair examination, you are kindly reminded of the following:
Electronic devices are FORBIDDEN during the EQE.
Mobile telephones as well as many other electronic devices are now an integral part of our daily lives. However, they cannot be part of the EQE and it is strictly prohibited to take electronic devices of any kind, be it mobile phones, cameras, digital watches, or clocks, even mechanical ones, into the examination hall (see Instructions to candidates concerning the conduct of the European qualifying examination, point 9(a), Supplementary publication OJ EPO 2/2017 p. 37).
Candidates discovered in the examination hall with any telephones or other electronic devices (unless explicitly allowed by the Examination Secretariat) will be reported to the Examination Board. This might lead to the most serious consequences (see Rules 19 and 20 IPREE).
It will nevertheless be possible to hand in electronic devices before the start of the examination. For this purpose, please bring along an A4 envelope labelled with your first name, surname and date of birth. No responsibility can however be assumed for any damages or loss.
