Everyone needs to test, even if you are a resitter - the software has been updated since last year, and you need to be familiar with the new possibilities, as well as potential problems.
See for example the posts here on working digitally and avoiding browser crashes. It is also a good moment to check compliance with room requirements.
The examinations begin next week on 8 March 22, so we urgently ask the 25% to use this weekend to familiarise yourselves with the technical requirements for the EQE.
Full access to the WISEflow system is not now available until the dates of the examinations but the EPO will provide one last opportunity to run a camera and microphone test on Monday7 Mar 22. Camera/microphone issues are the most common problem, and could result in you being unable to complete the exam. Please contact helpdesk@eqe.org as soon as possible to schedule a test.
From 7 Mar 22, the mock exams are no longer available in WISEflow, so the only possibility to now test is using the demo flows, such as FLOWlock Browser.
To test your camera in WISEflow:
- Click on the drop down menu next to your name and select "Edit profile" and Start FLOWlock to start the FLOWlock Browser. In the Assignment Options, click on "Appendix material" and "Manage appendices" to open the "Appendix manager" tab. In the "Appendix manager" tab, click on "New appendix", and then "Take an image". This looks like the "Entry image" screen used before each exam / flow. Unfortunately, there is no microphone test.
A new requirement in 2022: you must verify the software at least once in the morning BEFORE each exam:
- To verify: after logging-in to WISEflow, click on the drop down menu next to your name and select "Edit profile" and "Test Browser". This will start the FLOWlock / LockDown Browser, and check that it is up to date.
More information on the technical requirements can be found in the EQE section on the EPO website, for example in EPO - EQE FAQ, and in the detailed WISEflow user guide.

ReplyDeleteI would love to test them again. Do you think there will be a flow therefore or where is the official information thereof?
It could be that they make a special flow - it was not completely clear. The info above is from an email which was sent to all EQE2022 candidates and tutors - officially, they ask that you contact the helpdesk by email (helpdesk@eqe.org) and request it.
DeleteWiseflow crashed on my home PC today after just 20 minutes. Great confidence booster! :-(
ReplyDeleteI heard that several people had problems today. It seems as if WISEflow was updating the software.
DeleteI have also received this email last Friday but I doubt its accuracy-namely the 25%.
ReplyDeleteWhy?! Today I opened Wiseflow to check the status-all flows are deleted-ok; but when I go to archive, it shows that I participated in the flows under exam conditions on 10 and 21.12.2021 - this is not true.
I participated in the flows under exam conditions on 6, 10, 21.12.2021 and 3.02.2022.
So archive of the flows is not correct and hence the epo/epi statistics might be incorect
This is likely EQE propaganda. Last year they posted the eEQE as a resounding success -which it clearly was not. I failed a paper due to technical issues, but till now do not even understand how my paper was marked. The fact that (with exception of D due to compensation) pass rates were similar to before, show that fudging of the marks was at play!
DeleteThanx for the reminder to check Lockdown Browser Requirements/software
